Special attention deserves an exhibition of destruction and restoration of the royal castle.

The exhibition is primarily addressed to the young generation, mostly not remembering now that the castle was not on the post-war map of Warsaw. It is also a showcase for foreigners example of exceptional concern for the preservation of the past, acclaimed entry to the Royal Castle and Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lanckoronski Gallery - Paintings by Rembrandt
Works of art donated by Karolina Poland Lanckorona in 1994, were the most precious gift in the history of our museum.
Among them are paintings from the former gallery Stanislaw August with two masterpieces by Rembrandt. Purchased in 1815 by Kazimierz Rzewuski, they were inherited by the family Lanckoroński and for nearly 200 years were part of the collection Lanckoroński in Vienna, classified as the finest private collections in Europe.
